Best seafood on the Oregon Coast and not overly expensive. At the Historic Bayfront in Newport. Reservations recommended, but they do leave a few spots open for walk ups. They also have a fresh seafood counter if you would prefer to prepare your own meals in home.

Awesome tide pools. Check the tides before your trip, plan accordingly with low tide for best views of tide pools. Free. 5 min drive north on 101 from the house.

You can hike along the beach, or up to to the lookout (you can also drive up to the lookout) great place to visit around sunset. Just south of Yachets.

Who doesn't want to see dozens of baby seahorses and hundreds of vibrant jellyfish? They even have a live booth where you can touch sea anemone and starfish.

Closest Beach Access to house. 10 min walk or 2 min drive from house. Go down the hill, take a right at the stop sign. Continue until the clubhouse is in front of you, parking in back. Great beach, not crowded. We really enjoy walking from here south around the spit at the bay, at low tide you get to see the seals sunbathing:)
