PelicanThis is a secret place. You drive here and a little rickety boat comes a gets you. takes you across the little river to a scruffy shack. The food was actually good. I didn't think i would be able to eat here. It didn't look too clean. I did eat there and didn't get sick. An experience I'm glad I didn't miss. Very good food if you can get passed where it is cooked. Washrooms are very iffy! Take your own paper and wipes.

This place is opposite Janet's supermarket. Across the street through a guarded check point. Just wave and they will let you in. My favourite place.

11 ProCab Calle BThis is a must go! It is a surf camp, Plus restaurant. Very unique place. Take some bread with you so you can feed the turtles and fish. Very serene and peaceful. This place is opposite Janet's supermarket. Across the street through a guarded check point. Just wave and they will let you in. My favourite place.

Amazing views riding up the cable car to the top and down again. There is a little cafe on the top. Also a nature trail and a lagoon very interesting. Just a heads if you are going into the building under the statue, beware of the tourist trap. Also try and go here by yourself. Not booked through an agency or tourist guide. It is much cheaper and very easy to go by yourself.

This is a fantastic day out. You take a boat ride through the mangroves and you will see eagles and cranes and other local birds. Local fisherman fishing. Then the laguna opens up and you find yourself in the ocean. Your boat will take you into caves and for a swim at a private beach. It's one of my favourite trips.
