While line ups at Cows and Dairy Queen extend out the door, the best locally made gelato here is a hidden gem at pop-up location near Lululemon and also a food truck that usually parks by Rainbow Lake or Lost Lake. Single scoop with 2 flavours is our reward after a day of hiking and biking!

Great outdoor playground behind the centre with splash pad for young children. We bike on the valley trail to this park for picnics with our son.
For rainy or cold days, swimming and ice skating are great options for the kids.

In the summer, we love cross country biking here. There are different levels for every rider. We even take our 6yr old here where we can all practice on the bridges and trails together.
There are hiking trails as well as a lake with beach for swimming and hanging out with the kids.
In the winter, it is a great XC ski destination and also has snowshoeing trails meandering through the forest.

In the summer, we love cross country biking here. There are different levels for every rider. We even take our 6yr old here where we can all practice on the bridges and trails together.
There are hiking trails as well as a lake with beach for swimming and hanging out with the kids.
In the winter, it is a great XC ski destination and also has snowshoeing trails meandering through the forest.
Canoe, kayak and paddle board rentals with a playground, picnic area and beach with dock make this a perfect family hangout in the summer! We walk down with our wagon full of food and toys and can easily spend the day catching minnows and splashing around in our canoe.
