Looking to snag a 14er? Camp at the beautiful Kite Lake before attempting to summit Mt Lincoln, Located in Pike's National Forest outside of the highest town in the United States, Alma.
If you're really looking to challenge yourself (and you are experienced or with someone experienced!) Go ahead and snag all 3 peaks Mt. Democrat, Mt. Lincoln, and Mt. Bross, completing the circuit in a single day!
This is one of my most favorite hikes in a beautiful high alpine tundra habitat speckled with wildflowers in the summer! Love.
NOTE: This is high-elevation so be prepared with A LOT, A LOT of water and multiple layers. It gets very cold at night and on the summit. Be prepared to stay overnight.

Many military, Olympic athletes, and hiking enthusiasts are attracted to this challenging hike.
I recommend it, you can see the Garden of the Gods in the valley below as you approach the summit.
