Concerts (summertime), morning yoga (summer), and Film on the Rocks (summer) are worth a trip! Also, just go there and see the natural beauty!! Go through "Entrance 1", to drive through a short tunnel (bored out of the rocks) and take in the view of downtown Denver that is hard to beat!

Living near the Hogback, the South Platte river, the Highline Canal trail, Waterton Canyon, Chatfield Reservoirs, and more, makes for plenty of choices... it all depends on your time and interests!
A very popular spot on weekends. Note that there are two parking lots, in case the one near the trail head fills up, which it can. The "second" one is a little north of the closer/main parking lot (and on the same side of the road).
Go to (hopefully) see big horn sheep!
