Local Restaurants
Lebanon is an older community, with a number of really good, established restaurants, as well as some new editions that promise to impress.
This is a personal fave. Remodeled old school building, featuring wooden fixtures (the dining tables, benches, bar) crafted from a 100+ years old oak tree. Outdoor games, patio or indoor seating… plus really nice selection of local micro brews. The food is decent, and the ambiance is so much fun! (I’m not a fan of the blackened ribs, but the best burger you’ll ever eat). Excellent, hand-cut fries. Aw, snap! Now I’m getting hungry!

This little spot is one of those hidden gems. It draws people from all over the country, who stop on their way through the area. Worth the stop. Excellent chocolate, and priced accordingly. Find their map on the wall and pin your own hometown.

There are better Mexican places in Indianapolis, (but they will cost you a drive and a bigger price tag). But we love this place because the food is good, the atmosphere is authentic and the people who own it work hard to support their community. They really strive to please.

We love our ice cream in Lebanon, so you have great options. This is a newly opened location, but lots of really great frozen choices. By being located on the square, it makes a good after-dinner stop, paired with a walk around the historic square.
