Sunny Day Excursions!
Location: Pensacola Beach-biggest Gulf side pier. This is at the main beach parking lot. Straight thru the 1st red light on the beach, right and the 2nd light. Our beautiful squeaky white sand can't be beat! We have beachside restaurants on each side of Via De Luna Drive which are bikini friendly on the outside, cover-ups are required on the inside--for most places except Crabs and Flounders where bikini's are good to go! From west to east on the Gulf side you have Casino Beach Bar, Public restrooms w/outdoor shower to rinse, The Stand for takeout, The Dock-which is a bar with frozen drinks, and Crabs Restaurant & Bar, and Sidelines with 24 hr sports and about 40 tv's. Bands-on-the beach also happen here at the pavillion every Tuesday night. Bring your beach chairs, coolers (alcohol is okay if it's not glass) and dancing shoes!

This is at the end of the Gulf Islands National Seashore on Pensacola Beach. The National Seashore has daily, weekly, or seasonal passes. Don't ever attempt to drive on the sand because you will sink in. The first parking stop is on the left, it's Langdon Beach with a bathroom, shower, and lifeguard in the summer. The fort is at the end of this peninsula, It's a great walk along the fort, wear comfy shoes and bring your own drinks/snacks. Just beyond the main fort you'll find one popular fishing pier and some less crowded beaches on the sound side where it's less wavy. The water has a steep drop here for divers. The drive all the way to the end of Ft. PIckens can take about 45 minutes from your suite but it's a great area to get away from crowds. Bring chairs, towels, umbrella, and a full cooler to sit on the beach, or hiking shoes for the fort. Don't forget the sunscreen, you can burn in a half hour down here in the middle of the day and get dehydrated very quickly. If you don't have supplies, there's a little Tom Thumb on the way near Peg Leg Pete's. Note: Roads sometimes close after major/named storms and road washouts. The park closes at dusk.

There are many other great tribute shows such as Hairspray, the Beatles tribute, etc.
You will be surprised that they often have availability because a show wasn't advertised.

FYI, only eat oysters in Months with an R in them like February, March, etc.
