Good Grub Spots
I have listed some of my favorite Ma and Pa eateries as well as great food scene areas that have plenty of delicious places to stuff face and walk away happy.
One of my favorite breakfast places to go grub down. It also have all you can drink bottomless mimosas! It gets packed on the weekends so try to get there before the rush if you are able.

This street is super famous for several reasons. I recommend grabbing a REAL hot chocolate from the local bakery, a mint julep from the hidden Green Russell, or enjoying some fine dining at Capitol Grille.

This Mexican food spot is fantastic! During the weekends they have a mariachi band strumming around the restaurant The food is AMAZING and the restaurant is quite colorful! Love it here. Definitely worth checking out. They specialize in seafood as well, but everything is delicious and authentic.

Great dim sum! They walk around pushing carts of goodies that you choose from. It’s affordable and super authentic. Best to go during brunch hours to get the full experience with the food carts

My absolute FAVORITE Italian place to go eat $1 oysters during Happy Hour! They have HH everyday from 3-6pm and 9-11pm. Amazing deals. Insanely delicious food. I recommend the raw oysters of course, the chargrilled oysters, the mussels with chorizo, the balsamic glazed ribs melt in your mouth, most of the pasta is homemade and the pizza is thin crust and yummy! I HIGHLY recommend eating here ❤️

This beautiful lake is a great spot to capture a gorgeous photo of Downtown. It’s also 2.56 miles so it’s great workout if you decide to take a stroll, jog or bike ride.

Union Station is a BEAUTIFUL train station- the inside is a must see. Lots of yummy places to eat, grab a coffee, marvel at the architecture.

Need a work out, but you don’t have too much time to get it in and you still want to see an amazing view? This is the spot for you. It’s great practically any time of the year.

Also, if you go early enough and there isn't an event taking place, they will let you check out the venue.
