Great beach for kids with little to no waves and a snack bar. Huge parking lot that rarely fills up so you don’t have to worry about getting there at 9 am. (Mayflower does fill up by 10)

Lovely town at the very top of the cape with great shopping and whale tours! Must see.

Take the ferry from Hyannis or Woods Hole for a day trip to the island. It only take about 45 min by ferry- bring you bikes or rent them there. Must see- the carousel in Oaks Bluff for kids to get the brass ring, the gingerbread houses in Oaks Bluff, and eat at Jimmy Seas. Shopping and dining in Edgartown. The most quaint beach town you’ve ever seen!

Picnic tables on the harbor with great, fresh seafood. Go for breakfast lunch or dinner and if you stay after dinner you can watch the sunset on the beach. Bring your own alcohol- Great find you will not be disappointed. It does get crowded though so get there early. One nice loophole is you can order takeout and pick up from the raw bar window which has a shorter line and then just bring beach chairs and sit and eat in the beach!

One nice loophole is you can order takeout and pick up from the raw bar window which has a shorter line and then just bring beach chairs and sit and eat in the beach!
