A gorgeous view any time of year, this park is one I've grown up going to. If you're into cardio workouts, try running the stairs. There are also occasional guided tours with wildlife experts.

That's right! You could be in a different country within a 2 hour drive. Vancouver is a beautiful city we visit often. It's also a short ferry ride to Victoria, BC. Which is also tops on our list of places to go.

Crest Theater is one of those historic budget movie spots with second-run movies and old-school interiors that evoke another time and place. I grew up going here to watch movies and hang out with friends, and I still do!
