Earls is a busy spot for happy hour so we'd recommend getting there before 3:00pm, when happy hour starts.
The Raven room is a new(ish) cocktail bar and restaurant. They recently got rated as a top 40-bar in all of Canada. If you want a great cocktail, this is the place.

Though we love Whistler in the winter, the summer in Whistler is growing in popularity, and one the best ways we've found to explore the surrounding area is through hiking. We've included below out top 3 hike suggestions.
Another very popular trail where a train derailed in 1956 when a freighter heading south from Lillooet came into on an area under track repair. The turnaround spot is the train wreck turned art exhibit.

The Blackcomb Meadows Trail is popular among both locals and tourist. Take the Blackcomb gondola up (if open) to the base of the Peak 2 peak, or take the Whistler Gondola up and take the Peak 2 Peak to Blackcomb's beautiful alpine.

The lake is home to an annual spectacle of an estimated 40,000 baby Western Toads migrating from Lost Lake to the nearby forest. Check online before you go, as portions of the trail closes in spring to let the toadlets cross.
