I recommend a tour of Chihuly”s Collection, the various periods or styles over several decades. Gorgeous installations with lighting that sets off the colors. Don’t miss the film, as it gives insight as to how the sculptures are a result of teamwork, almost a choreographed dance with molten glass and 2000 degree F furnaces. Admission included a live glass blowing demonstration at the Morean Arts Center.

St.Pete offers beautiful beaches!
The closest to the house is Spa Beach, only 1.5 miles, it’s right by the new pier.
My personal favorite is Ft.Desoto North Beach,which is about a 20min drive.

A wonderful beach, white sand, shallow water, restrooms and grill cabanas.
It’s about a 45min drive, but it’s a very nice, white sandy beach.
Great beachfront promenade and casual seafood restaurants.

Visit the new pier! It’s a must see. It just opened up in July 2020, offers lots of entertainment, food, water splash pad for the kids, small beach area and the best views of St.Pete.
