Known for it's mineral springs located throughout the town, Manitou Springs is a fun place to spend the day and explore, shop, hike and eat at.
Glen Eyrie also serves tea on weekends and certain weekdays from 11am - 3pm. Reservations are required. Their menu changes each season so check their website for details and to make reservations.
They have a little bookstore where you can also purchase tea and tea accessories.

A new visitors center with several viewing platforms were just completed at the end of June 2021.
Try to go early to avoid the crowds and if it’s summertime, an early start will help to avoid the afternoon thunderstorms that tend to roll in later in the day.
Temperatures at the top can be windy and much cooler than in the Springs so bring a jacket just in case.
If you do not care to drive on steep windy roads, you can take the Cog railway to the top. Here’s the link to their website: https://www.cograilway.com

On Wednesday nights during the summer from around May through September, Hillside Gardens has their summer concert series. Your entrance ticket gets you one free drink. One or two food vendors are set up there if you want something to eat. The band plays in the pavilion where some tables and chairs are set up, but they also have multiple sitting areas throughout the garden that are available on a first come first serve basis. Be sure to walk around the venue to check out the different areas!
As of July 2023, tickets are $15/pp.
