There are numerous museums in the Royal Borough. Well known are the Science Museum, Natural History Museum, and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
Less know, but wonderful are the Linley Sambourne House and the Leighton House Museum a walk away.
The internationally acclaimed Design Museum recently opened on our local High Street, adjacent to Holland Park.

Parks
Formerly the private garden of Holland House, (lord of our manor), this is one of most beautiful parks in London, on our doorstep. It has a wild park, a sports area, a formal garden, playground, a Cafe, and the exclusive Belvedere Restaurant.

All the Royals live here, and the Queen lives at Buckingham Palace. Beautifully located in Kensington Gardens, with a magnificent Orangery serving food and drink.

Work
The only Victorian Exhibition centre in central London. We are ideally located if you visit or exhibit here, a few minutes walk away. The local station is called Kensington Olympia Station. Some of exhibitions here are: Beer Festival, Film & Comic Con, Antiques & Fine Art Fair, 100% Design, and lots of specialist exhibitions.

Concerts
The world famous Royal Albert Hall is at the end of our Kensington High Street. Various concerts and shows are held here through the year. 2 of my favourites are:
The Proms from July - September; and Cirque du Soleil in January. Opposite is the unique Albert Memorial built by Queen Victoria.
