Outdoor activities
About 5 minutes from the house this is a great place to explore the trails and woods and also enjoy the asswoman Bay. There is several picnic areas a dock some small beaches observation tower freshwater ponds. Plenty to do if you want something outside but not the beach bring crabbing lines or fishing rod make sure to pack a lunch.

Assawoman Wildlife Area
37604 Mulberry Landing RdAbout 5 minutes from the house this is a great place to explore the trails and woods and also enjoy the asswoman Bay. There is several picnic areas a dock some small beaches observation tower freshwater ponds. Plenty to do if you want something outside but not the beach bring crabbing lines or fishing rod make sure to pack a lunch.
The beach is a little bit further away but worth the drive it takes approximately 30 minutes to get there from the house but has alot to offer not as busy as Ocean City or Bethany beaches, you're allowed to fish, surf, have bonfires, there's also camping permitted there, trails to hike to the Bayside, bath houses with showers.

Plenty of trails to hike bunkers to explore the beach is accessible from the state park so bring your bathing suits you can also Camp here I believe they have bicycles to rent last time I was there they gave them to us for free

A great Beach not as crowded as Ocean City you do have to pay for a daily pass. They provide bathhouse restrooms showers and have food icecream and beverages for sale.
Approximately 7 miles from the house.
