Hand-cut Maine potatoes fried Belgian-style in duck fat, tossed with our seasoning salt and served in a cone with your choice of five homemade dipping sauces — these fries are our inspiration and reason we opened Duckfat.
Opened in 2005 by Nancy Pugh and Rob Evans, Duckfat is proud to be independently and locally owned. Chef Rob was named “Best Chef Northeast” by the James Beard Foundation in 2009, Duckfat is also a three time Food Network Chopped Champion restaurant. The inspiration for our food began in Thailand and grew to include numerous Asian influences as Dan continuously sought to bring a spirit of equality and inclusiveness to his menu. No borders. No hard lines. Dan united ingredients and flavors from Malaysia, Japan, China, India and Thailand into a meat-free menu with something for everyone.
