This is Zach and I’s favorite place to recreate nearby, there are a ton of trails with different difficulties and you can either feel like you’re in the mountains or plains OR have access to Horsetooth reservoir depending on which trail you take! This is home of the famous Arthur’s Rock trail.

This is home of the famous Arthur’s Rock trail.
Horsetooth Mountain
This is one of my favorite free hiking and mountain biking trails, it is extremely close to our house if you access it from the West Entrance off N County Road 23. Heading South from the house, there is a 'U' pull off on the East side of the road just before it starts gaining elevation to go up around the Reservoir.

If you are looking for a place to take you rafting, look no farther! These professionals can fearlessly take you down the whitewater! They also offer rentals of gear such a Stand-Up paddleboards if you are wanting to take them out on the water yourself.
This is also an amazing place to get a drink and hear some music, as they have recently opened up their very own outdoor tent bar called 'Paddler's Pub' Drop by for a game of sand volleyball!
