Sightseeing
The train wreck hike is a really cool hike which takes you to an old train wreck. It looks like an art installation now with all the graffiti art. You can climb in an explore. A nice easy hike for about an hour but you can keep going on after to make it longer. To get there: drive towards Function Junction and then drive east. Cross the small bridge and immediately turn right onto Jane Lakes Road. After turning right, drive about 500-meters to where there is a small road that branches to the left. The parking area is located to the left by this small road, next to a sign that reads “Train Wreck Parking”. The trail begins across the street next to a sign marking the Sea To Sky Trail.

During ski season, the peak 2 peak gondola lets you start skiing on one mountain and then take the peak to 2 peak to the other (between Whistler and Blackcomb). It is still worth doing in the summer for the fabulous views of the mountain, village and trees!

If you need a break from skiing, Scandinave is a great way to spend the day to relax and decompress. It is a traditional Scandinavian bath on the edge of the Lost Lake Park spruce and cedar forest. Hot-cold relax circuits and the peace and quiet is just what you need to forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Whistler isn't just for skiing. The bike park offers trails for all abilities. You take the gondola up and ride down. If you are here for the summer, it is worth a try. Consider getting bike guide. If you don't want to take the lift, there are tons of local trails that are free and you can rent bikes locally.

Good for a daytrip in the summer (10km roundtrip, 4hrs, moderate difficulty): Joffre Lakes is one of BC's most beautiful hikes. The hiking trail passes all three lakes and reaches the campsite next to Upper Joffre Lake where Matier Glacier hangs impressively high above. From the parking lot just off the Duffey Lake Road north of Pemberton, head along the trail staying to your left at the fork and in just minutes you will reach the first of three lakes.

How to get to the village.
Creekside is calm and quiet. If you want to have lots of restaurants, bars and cafes head to the pedestrian Village. The easiest way is to drive. Just turn right on sea to sky highway, drive 5 minutes and then right again on Village Gate Blvd. You can also take the bus. Take the #20 or #21 from the bus stop in front of the entrance to parking area of our complex . Walk past Rim Rock Cafe, the bus stop is on the SE corner of Whistler Rd. and the Rim Rock's parking. It costs $2.50 and will get you to the village in about 7 minutes.

How to get to Creekside gondola
Take the east exit from our courtyard. This will take you directly out on to a trail. Turn right and walk down this trail for about 3 minutes (or you can ski!). It will exit at the Tim Hortons on the edge of Creekside village. Turn left and walk for 4 minutes. The access to the gondola is on your left (take the stairs next to the pedestrian overpass).

How to get to Creekside grocery and shops
Creekside shops are in the same place as the gondola. Once you take the path and get to Tim Hortons, turn left and walk a few minutes. Cross the street and then turn right at the pedestrian overpass. There you will find Starbucks, a bank, a kids play area, a grocery store, liquour store, and a fitness place.
