Large established house in scenic rural setting approx 25 km from Krabi & 22 km from Ao-Nung
The upper floor includes 2 bedrooms 3 toilets, large kitchen & lounge room
Big tropical garden c/w mountain views and cool translucent tidal creek.
The house has generous verandas and large open rooms. A large third bedroom downstairs and garden bungalow can be added for larger groups
The upper floor is private with scenic mountain views. The large kitchen lends itself to dinner parties - Fast WiFi

The house should be considered as a rural Thai farm stay/getaway i.e. Large vegetable garden, free range domestic animals; creek with fabulous swimming holes and outdoor activities which include:-
•Kayaking
•Swimming. ** with otters in their natural environment - is a highlight **
•Cycling
•Walking
• Boating
• Fishing: Garden ponds; sea expeditions and local fishing park/resort
• Mountain climbing activities at the Chong Plie only 10min away from us
•Also normal rural Thai activities such as rubber tapping, palm oil harvesting along with free ranging domestic animals.
Some guests like cooking fresh thai food in the large kitchen.
Many guests like swimming in the fresh water creek.
Many children love to help feed the animals.
Some guests like to catch fish from the ponds.
Wild otters are seen and wild gibbon calls can be heard, both infrequently. We have tame otters which are memorable to swim with in their natural environment.

Note: We have ponds and a creek along our boundary which could be hazardous to young mobile children if not kept under close supervision

This listing is in the quiet Thai scenic countryside and therefore the nearest restaurants and bars and beaches are at Tha Len 7- 8 km away or at Ao Nung 15-20km away.
If you don't need lots of other people around and want to see real Thailand - then this may be the place for you.
You will be affected the dramatic geography; tropical jungle; translucent creek and rural Thai life

Nim and I are lucky to live in a very scenic area - we try to be semi self sufficient, using our large vegetable and thai herb garden as often as possible.
We wake up early to fresh (Thai) arabica coffee then do the rounds - feeding and watering.. the animals and garden. This life style keeps us active and never bored.. When we take a break we love to go camping in the Thai national parks and/ or take our longtail boat out onto Phung nga bay for overnight trips; We blend in with the local Thai population and feel like we can show you the real Thailand that we know so well.
We have the whole upper floor vacant after a recent renovation - so come and join us... We will do our best to make you feel comfortable... We can offer great advice on some of the local sightseeing tours and refuse to take commissions.
Our guests are our window to the world and good reviews are our reward.
Its been a great experience; meeting and greeting our guests from all over the world to date, and we many great shared memories together

The owner lives in the ground floor with all amenities i.e. We have no need to access upper floor, however we are there to enhance your stay, this may include helping to organize transport to local highlights/ shopping/ restaurants; or cleaning access - Please advise when you want the house cleaned - cleaning frequency depends on guest and length of stay.
Help with tours, catering, transport;
Note: We don’t do commission for tours which is a very common practice amongst other venues
