Located on top of the hill above Foxburg and the Foxburg golf course.
No contact entry. Dogs are welcome. Park on the gravel in front of the cottage & go up the red stairs to the left of the cottage.
We are about 4 miles or 6 minutes, from exit #45 I-80 interstate. Please note, that a guest cottage is located below this upper cottage. There is a sitting area underneath the carport that you can use, with a grill and table. Thanks, Rick

The cottage is private and complete, with one Queen size bed and a full-size futon couch, a 40-inch TV, & Dish TV, & Fast Wifi. The cottage is located away from our stone home. It is connected to the house via a 20 by 20 ft. carport. There is a microwave, small refrigerator, dishes, and silverware but no kitchen. Outside stairs up to the cottage, easy parking on the gravel in front of the cottage.
This is a one-room cottage with a bath, separated from the main room by a sliding divider, both the Queen size and the full-size futon are in the same room! We have a private well, that has 2 filter systems on it plus a water-softer system before it reaches the cottage. Water is safe to drink etc. but we also supply bottled water and a filtered water pitcher for you.
Two great restaurants in Foxburg: one is upscaled. You will find the cottage, very clean, and neat, with everything you will need for your stay, Krupps coffee maker, bottled water, soft drinks, and if you need anything, just let us know!
We are a friendly host and will do whatever it takes to make your stay enjoyable.

It is small town area, in fact no town area! We are walking distance to the oldest operating golf course in USA! Hike boat, etc

We are a married couple living in Foxburg PA. In a 100 year old stone home that was originally part of the old (1789) Fox estate! We re-moldeled our stone cottage about 3 year ago, for my sons to use when they would fly in from Colorado to visit. But found out that they only come for about 3 days a year as they are so busy with there own car business in Longmont Co. So we now are part of Airbnb!
The home and garage are about 100 years old. We were living in Delray Beach Fl. but found it to busy and crowded, for us, so we have relocated here to a more remote area in Western PA.. There are no Mac Donald's, 7/11's, gas stations nor crowds. From the Cottage we see bears, turkey's and deer etc, We love the quite and remote settings. The Foxburg golf course is the oldest in USA and you can walk to it from the cottage, in less then 5 minutes. Also you can canoe the Allegheny River, fish, ride the bike trails, and walk along a old railroad bed that runs along the Allegheny River. We will welcome you and enjoy having someone use our cottage. I ran my own airplane dealership (Piper) for 40 years in Boulder Colorado, before moving to Delray Beach FL. Lerma grew up in Cebu in the Philippines, we have been married for 4 years. We have a condo in Delray Beach Florida, that we have listed now on this site, for your use, if you wish.
