The venue is an annexed Villa-apartment with its own secure entrance. It has one air-conditioned bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a bathroom (with hot-water shower) and a living/dining/kitchen space - all fully furnished. A fold down sofa bed can be used for a 3rd (paying) guest. Outdoors to the rear is a serene garden with chairs and a hammock for relaxation. One can even barbeque using the home-made barrel grill.

Tacarigua is a village that sits at the foothills of the majestic northern range and tropical forest in the east of Trinidad. It is a 7-minute drive to the Piarco International Airport (POS) and a 25-minute drive to the capital city, Port-of-Spain. The University of the West Indies is located to its west, a mere 10-minute drive away. Tacarigua is home to vast open-air recreational grounds where walkers, joggers, track athletes, cricketers, soccer players and zumba dancers all intermingle in an environment of sport, exercise, play and fun.

I am a retiree who owns the guest property. I also live in an adjacent apartment on the same lot. I will be able to share information about the island with you to help you as you travel around. I am always interested in other people's experiences and travel if they wish to share.

I spend most of my time working around the yard on small projects. Once a week I go to the recreational grounds to sit and chat with fellow retirees.

I believe in the concept of recycling and composting and engage in these efforts in my simple ways. I enjoy listening to music from my era and watching western movies.

Since I am not computer savvy, I rely on my daughter to communicate electronically on my behalf. I however look forward to at least one telephone conversation with my guest/s before they arrive. Thank you.
