Welcome Future Guests of the “Hamline-House” Walking Distance to Hamline University & Allianz Soccer Field.
To answer all questions about our space we have detailed information about it below.
• Cleaning and Safety Protocol - all of my properties are clean to the highest standard.
- 48-72 hours between bookings.
- Professional cleaning service and cleaning technician wears gloves and masks.
- Extra attention to a sterile cleaning
of all surfaces, light switches, remote, nine chlorine bleach solution for all sheets and linens washed in hot water.
- As cleaner exits the property the air is sprayed with Lysol in every room and no one will enter the property until our next guest.
• Calendar: Our calendars are updated in real time so if the calendar shows it’s available it is indeed available.
• Who are your Hosts: We are a small 3 personal family owned Airbnb business and strive to make all guests feel welcome! We travel and stay in Airbnb’s a lot and have put a lot of thought into the amenities, cleanliness and furnishings of our properties. There’s no better cleaner than a mom, and Mom guarantees a sparkling clean apartment for all guests upon their arrival.
• Check in and check out time: 3PM. Generally, we do not make acceptations to this policy because we are often turning properties over on the same day and want to ensure we have time to make the property sparkling clean for your arrival. Check out time is 10AM.
• Luggage Early Drop off: If you are traveling from the airport and are arriving much earlier than our 3PM check in time we can arrange for you to drop off your luggage early at the apartment or at our office located close by. Please inquire about this option.
• The Apartment: The structure of this building is a side by side duplex with two units and is positioned as a corner lot in a quiet residential street close to shopping and restaurants. One is the featured Airbnb and the other is for a long-term renter of ours. Each unit has separate entries, is private to one another and offers a private patio outdoor spaces exclusive to the unit. The featured Airbnb unit has been fully furnished and is used only for guests. No one lives here.
• Entry: To enter the unit, you will have to walk up 4 steps to the front door.
• Living Room: South and West facing this cozy living room is full of natural light. Beautiful hardwood floors. The Couch flips down into a bed if you feel like sprawling or need an extra bed. There’s an additional chair and foot stool. The large screen TV is connected to our High Speed WIFI and is capable of streaming and is also connected to a digital antenna for watching ABC, CBS, NCC, FOX and other public channels.
• Dining Room: Connected to the living space and has a circular table for 4, is stylishly decorated and a perfect place to eat, visit, play games or work.
• Kitchen: Fully equipped with a regular coffee pot and coffee (Not a Keurig), standard size fridge and gas stove, pots/pans, dishes, silverware, toaster and other basic kitchen essentials we have what you need for a short or longer stay.
• Bedroom: Tucked down the hallway is a spacious bedroom with a high-quality queen-size mattress and luxury quality sheets and bedding. We travel a lot and know the importance of having a good night’s rest! There is also a closet with wood hangers, laundry basket and a dresser. There is an extra blanket and pillow in the top shelf of the closet.
• Bathroom: Just your basics. Shower, tub, stool and sink. And don’t worry, we always have you covered with clean bath towels.
• Patio: Just out the side door from the kitchen our guests can enjoy a private, fully enclosed, by a tall wood fence, brick patio. We have garden rope mood lighting, a bistro table, two chairs and a BBQ charcoal Grill. Guests must purchase and provide their own charcoal.
• Private Den: This is a finished space located downstairs adjacent to the unfinished laundry room area. It offers a trundle day bed that rolls out, quality mattress, sheets and pillows, closet, table, electric fireplace heater, chair and is carpeted. Although this room is private it does not have an egress window and is NOT considered a bedroom.
• Laundry Room: Private laundry has free washer and dryer and is located downstairs in an unfinished utility area adjacent to the private den.
• Parking: This is a quiet residential street and there is typically readily available street parking right in front or along the side of the house. We also allow our guests to park off street on the parking pad in front of the garage in back. If guests choose to park here please park in front of the left garage stall.
• PETS: no pets allowed. Sorry no exception.
• What is close: The public rail system is a 2-block walk and can get you to US Bank Stadium, the TCF Stadium, Twins Stadium, downtown St. Paul, downtown Minneapolis and more. You are a 5-minute walk to Super Target, LA Fitness, other shopping, coffee and restaurants. You are a 5-minute Uber or Lyft ride to Wholefoods, a plethora of dining, Grand Ave District, Cathedral Hill District and more. Just ask, we are happy to recommend anything you’re looking for.

The Neighborhood:
The Hamline House is located in the historic "Hamline Midway" neighborhood. The vibe is divers, artsy, eclectic and all urban! Tree lined streets and turn of the century homes filled with hipsters and families combined. Staying in in this tight knit neighborhood gives you the true culture of living in our city. Within a few blocks to less than a mile walk you can get to Allianz Field, Groundswell neighborhood coffee shop, a sandwich joint, acupuncture, martial arts studio and a mixture of culturally authentic cuisine. Plus, there are a whole variety of modern conveniences mixed in such as Target, Pharmacy/Drug, Whole Foods, LA Fitness and just about anything you want or need.

Metro Transit Light Rail: The Lexington Train Station for the rail is 2 blocks away and connects you to everything:
•Allianz Field United FC - 3 Minutes (or walk, it’s about a mile)
•Xcel Energy Center for Conventions or MN Wild Hockey - 15 Minutes
•St. Paul Lower Town to Mears Park, tons of dining and bar options - 20 Minutes
•State Capital - 15 Minutes
•TCF Stadium (Home of the Gophers) and U of M - 25 Minutes
•US Bank Stadium (Home of the Vikings) - 30 Minutes
•Downtown Minneapolis to the Twin's Stadium, Nightlife, bars, restaurants and more - 35 minutes
•Mall of America - 50 minutes (transfer necessary)

The Neighborhood: Named Hamline Midway largely because of its proximity to Hamline University and its central ‘Midway’ location, this neighborhood is extremely convenient to both downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Aside from the great variety within walking distance you are also within a 5-10-minute Uber or Lyft to many destination spots:
•Cathedral Hill Business District – Located in a beautiful and historic neighborhood this district has that cobble stone street feel and is loaded with dining and shopping. If you appreciate architecture go here!
•Grand Avenue and Summit Hill – One of St. Paul’s main “small town” shopping experiences can be found here. Loaded with a wide variety of dining from your basic pubs to fine dining and everything. Take in this Avenue from Dale Street to Fairview Avenue and you will be rich in dining, ice cream parlor, deli’s, shopping and there is no shortage of St. Paul Charm here.
•Lower Town - St. Paul’s newest hot spot here you can take choose from many places to eat, drink, catch a minor league baseball game at The Saints Stadium, chill in Mears Park and visit the Farmers Market!!!
•Como Park- Just north a few miles (an easy bike ride from the apartment) is a plethora of great outdoor fun. Offering a great two mile walk around beautiful Como Lake or you can rent a peddle wagon. The park also has a great restaurant in the Pavilion, a public Golf Course, free public Zoo, Kids amusement park and an amazing Conservatory.
•West Seventh – Rich with down and dirty dive bars, brewery’s and restaurants this hip area is exploding! While down here check out Keg and Case Market! An iconic St. Paul destination, Keg and Case Market is a food hall and market with a brew pub and dining all located inside the former Schmidt Brewery. A true experience you just cannot miss!

All hot spots for "biz buzz" and the dining options are splendid!!!

Hello, My partner and I are both In Sales and have been life partners for 20 years. We have NO children and enjoy spending their college fund on our travel. :) My partner is a marathon runner and I enjoy supporting his bad habid with from the sidelines with a beer in hand.
