Our mountain Chalet overlooks a gorgeous forest covered valley, and tall Himalayan peaks of Trisul, Nandadevi & Panchchuli
(Best views between September to February).

*PROPERTY LAYOUT*
2 Bedroom duplex villa spreading approx. 1600 sq.ft
On Lower Level:
- Main Entrance to Living Room and Dining Area
- One bedroom with attached bathroom.
- Adequately equipped Kitchennette

On Upper Level:
- Master bedroom with attached bathroom and bay window having beautiful view of valley & mountains
- The attic is fitted with a futon bed for our two extra guests / kids

- Outdoor Patio with Dining Area and swing having mesmerizing view of Someshwar Valley.
- Private Garden with outdoor furniture & mountain/ valley views.

*AMENITIES*
- 32 inch LED TV in Living room/ 24 inch LED TV in Master Bedroom
- 20 mbps satellite Wi-Fi
- Kitchenette with basic appliances like microwave, OTG, refrigerator, gas stove, RO, cookware & serve ware along with tea station (tea, coffee, sugar, creamer).
- 25 L water heaters for hot water supply in all bathrooms.
- Ceiling / table fans in all rooms for summer months (air-conditioning not required)**
- Heaters / heat convectors in all rooms for usage in winter
- Power back up is through UPS system, which will power the lights and fans, however heavy electronics like kitchen equipment, geysers / water heaters, room heaters, electric iron, and hair dryers cannot be used on power back up in case of a power outage
- Indoor Bukhari at extra charges of INR 1500 per use

We can organize an open-air bonfire at an extra cost Rs. 1500 per use (approx. 3 hours)

*BARBECUE*
Apparatus is available - free
Coal is chargeable at Rs. 1500 per use/ guest can bring coal themselves.
Note: coal is not available nearby, so we recommend carrying it from Bhowali.

*PARKING *
- 20 steps from Parking to Villa.
- Car goes directly to the property and have 2 cars parking space.
- Only 2-3 steps to enter the Villa Parking.

*RENTAL INCLUSION*
- Complementary Housekeeping - once a day (10 Am – 4 Pm)
- Fresh clean Linen is provided at every check in. Extra Linen change cost is INR 500 per bed per time.
- Electricity - 40 Units per day (calculated pro-rata). Additional electricity will be charged at Rs. 10 per unit.
Note: Enough for running the house with heating. The cap is to prevent misuse / wastage of electricity by leaving water heaters / room heaters left on unattended.

*COOKING BY CARETAKER/ COOK*
We can arrange a local cook for making home cooked food at a nominal charge of Rs. 1000 per day
Groceries are to be provided by the guests as per choice
The cooks have a mountain (pahadi) style of cooking, and can make both veg and non-veg meals. Their cooking style can be spicy, so please explain them about your specific taste at arrival.

*WATER USAGE*
- Water is scarce in hills and we advise to use water wisely.
- To reduce water wastage, we put a cap on the usage to avoid wastage and the same is enough for daily use.
- Complementary 1000 litre water per day (calculated Pro-rata), extra will be charged Rs. 500 per 1000 litre as we have to buy water every time from a far way source.

*LAUNDRY SERVICE*
- We don't have washing machine at the property.
- We have tie up with laundry person, which is available at nominal rates.

*PET POLICY*
- We allow toilet trained pets only.
- One time cleaning fee of Rs. 2500 is applicable.
- Please make sure, your pets don't use sofa & beds.
- Please keep your pets inside after 8 Pm to avoid wild animals.
- The guest will ensure safety of our team including maid, and of neighbors / children / people scared of pets, and shall maintain necessary safety precautions at all times. If the pet harms any person, the same can lead to necessary legal and criminal action against the guest
- The guests will be required to sign a pet liability form at the time of check-in

Our property is managed by Hostie - a company for boutique travel homes in North India. Our Kumaon zone Manager - Prem will be available to coordinate with the guests for a comfortable stay. Our care taker stays at a nearby village called "Digoti" and comes to the property between 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. everyday to take care of our guests. Our caretaker cannot cook for our guests, and a cook has to be arranged from outside. Our team will be available daily to take care of our guests, and we endeavor to ensure that our guests have a comfortable and memorable stay.
Our local manager, will visit the property from time to time to check with you if you are doing fine, or if there is any issue you are facing, and also to check the property for any damages. This is essential for us, and we understand and respect your privacy. He will take prior telephonic appointment from you before visiting the property, and we request you to kindly accommodate him to do his job. For any time, if you require any urgent assistance, our immediate response team numbers along with our co-host / host contact numbers will be mentioned at the property in house rules, as well as at other places. Please feel free to reach out to us any time 24 X 7 in case of any emergency, We will be there for you!
