If you want to drop out and relax, this is the place for you. Small but perfectly formed with a huge private garden and private parking. Peaceful and tranquil but with the convenience of being only a few minutes walk from a fabulous bar/restaurant.This area offers something for everyone whether it be sunbathing, swimming, walking,cycling,fishing, nature photography etc.

This is a small but perfectly formed holiday home perfect for couples or sole travellers seeking either a blissful week of relaxation or an action packed holiday or walking,cycling,water sports and much more.Le Cledier has a beautiful stone interior with a lovely mezzanine bedroom. It truly is unique and while we describe it as bijou, it has everything you need which includes a cosy lounge with wood burning stove,comfortable seating,dining area and TV as well as a double bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen and large shower room.

Outside
Le Cledier is surrounded by grounds of two acres with stunning views of open countryside/chestnut forests and a lake. You have exclusive use of all the land surrounding the gite including the land surrounding our farmhouse next door which we do not let when the gite is occupied.One of our favourite places to sit is under the silver birch trees (which overlook a stunning lake) where you can relax as you listen to the leaves rustling in the breeze.There are also outdoor tables, chairs and loungers for your use. You are also lucky enough to have walking and cycling routes at the end of the drive. At night time, experience the clearest starry nights you can imagine and listen to the owls in the nearby forests.

The staircase to the mezzanine bedroom is rather steep so is not suitable for everyone. Please ask if you would like to see more photos of it.

Please note that WiFi is available outside La Fermette next door. WiFi is not available at the gite however.

La Fermette is next door to you which sleeps 9. We do not let this when Le Cledier is occupied so you will not be disturbed.However,if you are interested in renting the two properties together for a group of up to 11 people,please ask.

So peaceful with stunning views over open countryside and yet close enough to the centre of the village to be able to walk to the local bar/restaurant.If you need some downtime,this is the perfect place.However,for the active types,there is walking,cycling,jogging,swimming,acrobois etc etc.And last,but certainly not least,the beautiful night skies not polluted by light.Sit back with a glass of wine and see more shooting stars than you will ever have seen!
