Whether you are single, a couple, a family, groups of friends or business travelers Aegis is perfect for you. Being on the top floor the views are spectacular.

Val your host will suggest to her guests switching to communicate by Whattsapp prior to arrival and whilst on island using wifi. Guests often have many questions and this makes for an easier way to communicate.

Aegis is situated close to the Marina which has great restaurants and relaxed atmosphere. Close to Rodney Bay and the malls/supermarkets. About 60% of our guests do not rent a vehicle as they love to walk.

Hosted by a Super Host this 2000 sq ft. top level of a 2 story house has stunning views views of the Caribbean Sea, the Marina and Pigeon Island. Located on a private residential road, this home has its own gated entrance with covered garage right at the front door. Location is key with this property being just 2 minutes drive to the Marina & Rodney Bay.

Decorated in Caribbean style with 3 bedroom/2 bath and large outdoor veranda to enjoy the stunning views and sunsets, this top floor property located at the top of the hill has lots of cool breezes to enjoy.

For your arrival we put in a comp fruit basket and the kitchen will have condiments such as salt and pepper, cooking oil etc. We recommend you either stop at the supermarket on your drive up or if you are with our taxi driver. If you are arriving after supermarket hours, we can put in the basics for your arrival such as eggs, ham, bread, butter, juice, water, beer/wine if needed.

A rented vehicle is recommended though some 60% of our guests do not rent a car and love to walk to the easily accessible venues/supermarkets. Otherwise, the local bus stop is on the main road about a 10 minutes walk from the house and the ride to malls and supermarkets is a few minutes approximately EC$2.50 one way. There are taxis available in the Marina and Rodney Bay. A walk from the house to the Marina is approximately 15 minutes.

At the entrance to the property there is an electric gate, the property is gated and fenced, parking available in open sided covered garage right at your front door.

Voltage: There is both 110v and 220v at the property. The 110v outlets are located in the kitchen and in the lounge behind the TV. There are adapters available for cell phone chargers.

Garbage collection days are Monday and Thursday - just a matter of putting the bin out on the side of the road before 9am - sometimes the truck comes early, then bringing it back in later on.

All bedrooms/lounge & Kitchen are all mosquito screened. Bedrooms all have AC with new inverter AC units.

Bedroom 1 - 2 single beds - AC & Ceiling fan - large windows, plenty cupboard space.

Bedroom 2 - queen bed - AC & Ceiling fan - large windows with good cupboard space.

Bedroom 1 and 2 share large spacious bathroom, shower is pebble stoned with rain shower

Bedroom 3 - king bed, ensuite bathroom with his & her sinks , very large pebble stone rain shower. Spacious shelves and cupboards. AC in the bedroom & ceiling fan. There is a small balcony. Two drawer lockable cabinet with key - an old one but does the trick.

All linens are provided as well as beach towels and beach chairs.
Housekeeping service is on departure if the booking is for one week. Housekeeping service is available once a week for 2 week to monthly bookings. During your stay should you require linens to be laundered, you can message the host and the Housekeeper will collect and drop off clean linens next day.

Either the housekeeper, Tricia, or the Host will meet you on arrival or self check in is possible with keys to be left at agreed place. Our staff are triple covid vaxd.

There are notes in the house as to Wi-Fi password, recommended restaurants and places to go.

If you require a taxi airport transfer we can book this for you with our designated driver. Check with us for latest rates.

This property is situated on top of the hill, there is an active Neighborhood Watch with great neighbors so you are in a very safe neighborhood. The owner may reside on the ground floor from time to time.

We recognize that some of our guests have family or friends on island. By all means invite them over for a visit to enjoy the sunset on the veranda but note, no additional guests for sleep overs are permitted and remember we still have Covid on the island. Stay safe.

Why this property?
Aegis is in a great location near to the Marina and Rodney Bay, it suits group of friends or a family looking for a great place to relax and enjoy. Its your base to head out and explore the island. Its spacious, comfortable, being on the top level of a large 2 story property there is a lovely breeze, it has a great ambiance and is located in an excellent private neighborhood where there is an active neighborhood watch. The sunsets on the veranda are amazing.

The Owner will provide suggestions of best restaurants, best tours and boat rides, great beaches and waterfalls to discover. We can arrange the taxi driver to meet you at the airport - airport transfers subject to change are US$85 for 2 and $20 per person thereafter. We will either arrange a concierge check with our driver or the owner or the housekeeper will meet and greet. We can also recommend a couple of good car rental companies.

Complimentary fruit and water are put into the villa for your arrival. If your flight is coming in late and you will miss the supermarket, we are more than happy to put in basics for your first night/breakfast.

Other Services Offered
If you are coming to St. Lucia to look into purchasing property the Owner can assist with this - either viewing property with you or putting you in touch with recommended realtors. A lawyer can also be recommended.

A few suggestions: bring good ground or bean coffee with you - Coffee is expensive here. That and gluten free items are very expensive here as is sunblock (please none with tanning dye) and mosquito body spray. If you are over 65 you will need a doctors health letter in order to rent a vehicle on island. If you forget to do this we can put you in touch with a local doctor - fee is about EC$150.

Fresh fruit and water is complimentary on arrival. If your flight will arrive after closing time for supermarkets, the host will check with you and put a few more items a guest may need for breakfast etc. Either the Host or Housekeeper will meet you, or keys will be left in a prearranged location for self check-in. A binder with lots of suggestions for restaurants and yours is in the house + WI-FI code. The best way to communicate while on island is through Whattsapp which the Host does recommend to her guests prior to arrival.

The kitchen and laundry are very well stocked. We put in body wash in the showers. The laundry is well stocked with laundry soap and fabric softener. Please dont use a 2nd rinse on the washing machine ..water is precious. Previous guests have suggested to bring shampoo with you, sunblock and your favorite coffee.

Let us know if you need a late check out which we can do if there is no same day arrival.
