In the heart of the Balaton Highlands, adjacent to the Káli Basin in the Nivegy Valley, we are pleased to offer a recently built guest house for rent. The Almond House, constructed in 2021 with modern technologies, is nestled on the 1-hectare Almond Garden (Manduláskert) estate in Szentjakabfa.
Almond Garden (Manduláskert) boasts a 14 x 4.5-meter saltwater pool, available for use from March to October. Guests can also reserve a private 6-person sauna with a cold-water bucket shower in the relaxation cottage. The cost of utilizing the sauna and pool is included in the accommodation price.

Positioned at the edge of the village amidst vineyards and forest, the Almond House provides a tranquil setting. Szentjakabfa, a charming hamlet with breathtaking views of the Balaton Uplands. Almond House offers a stunning panorama of Lake Balaton and the Nivegy Valley from the master bedroom.

The Almond House is recommended for those seeking peace and tranquility, ideal for 2 adults and a maximum of 4 children due to the bedroom layout.
The lower level of the Almond House features a spacious (70m2) open-plan living room with an American kitchen seamlessly integrated with nature through its expansive glass walls. This space opens onto two terraces facing the garden. A bathroom and a utility room are also part of the lower level.

Equipped with a home cinema projector and speakers, the living room ensures entertainment, while the modern kitchen includes an electric hob, oven, microwave, Kitchen Aid mixer, toaster, and other cooking and baking aids.

A spiral staircase leads to the upper level, housing three independent rooms and a bathroom. The large master bedroom offers a king size bed (180 x 200), a glass wall with a view of the valley and the lake, and a panoramic terrace. The two additional bedrooms, designated as "children's rooms," feature loft galleries (160 x 200), with one of them also containing a 90 x 200 single bed.

Szentjakabfa, a quiet village untouched by traffic or noisy entertainment, is surrounded by nature, forests, and vineyards. Positioned at the highest point of the Nivegy Valley, certain spots in the village offer breathtaking views of Lake Balaton and the valley. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling, with numerous wine cellars awaiting those interested in tastings. The nearest Lake Balaton beach is in Zánka, 8 km from the house. Köveskál, the renowned gastronomic village of the Balaton Uplands, is 11.5 km away, offering excellent restaurants and vine tasting opportunities. Within a 20-minute drive, you can explore several restaurants and bakeries providing a friendly atmosphere and quality food. The cultural capital of Europe 2023, Veszprém, is approximately a half-hour drive from the house, offering a variety of cultural events, from jazz and classical music performances to exhibitions and theater.

Szentjakabfa csendes, érintetlen település: sem átmenő forgalom, sem hangos szórakozóhely nem zavarja békéjét. A települést a természet: erdők és szőlők, boros pincék ölelik körbe. Elhelyezkedése csodálatos: a Nivegy völgy legmagasabb pontján helyezkedik el, így a falu bizonyos pontjairól csodálatos panoráma nyílik a Balatonra. A környék remek kiránduló- és bicikliző hely.
