Hug A Highland allows guests to visit our family owned and operated farm to brush, love, feed, and take nonprofessional pictures with our Scottish Highlands and miniature donkeys! It is a perfect way to get up close and personal with friendly farm animals. If wanted, guests can also take a look around our farm to learn more about beekeeping, cover crops, or agriculture in general. MUST BE 10 YEARS OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE

Are you longing to learn a new skill? Have you ever wanted to recreate an iconic scene from a movie?* Join me in the ceramics studio to learn the basics about wheel throwing. She even gives tips and tricks so that every person who takes a class, always creates a piece. It can be a solo experience or you can share it with a friend, family member, or significant other. Laugh, get messy, and create new memories with your partner. Ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, gals night out, or mother/daughter day out. Please reach out if you see a different time and day that works for you. Larger groups of 3-5 people are available. The details: No experience is required! Class is 2 hours long Artist trims and glazes piece. Student gets to choose a selection of 15 different glaze colors. Once the pieces are finished in about a month, you can come pickup the pieces or artist can ship them to you for additional cost. We use about 1-2 lbs of clay and you can create a bowl, vase, mug, whatever your heart desires! Artist supplies an apron, but recommends bringing shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Clay does not stain clothing. You are welcome to bring beverages and snacks! Studio is in a location in which require stairs. *Come on, you know you wanna be Demi Moore and Patrick Sawyze from Ghost!

Join me on the photoshoot experience that is bound to complete your visit to Cincinnati! Enjoy the historic architecture and rich history while posing it up with your family, significant other or make it a solo occasion. We will begin at beautiful Washington Park located in the heart of Over-the-Rhine, make our way over to classic Music Hall and finish off on Vine Street in front of the most spectacular murals in the city. I hope you leave with a greater appreciation for this quaint midwest city. The age old architecture and history behind the walls of each building are worth more than just a visit, they want to be remembered and photographed with you! !!OTHER THINGS TO NOTE PLEASE READ!! If you CANNOT WALK, this will NOT be the experience for you. If you are FROM THE CINCINNATI AREA, please DO NOT book this experience. This is a special experience JUST for people visiting from out of town. If you would like to book with me privately, please send me a message! The average time this experience takes is 30 MINUTES. Cincinnati Top Ten Sites with Bites Streetcar Tour
Visiting Cincinnati? This is the perfect morning tour for first time visitors! Not only do we see the Top Ten Sites, we also enjoy the Top Five Foods that Cincinnati is famous for! This is a guided tour of Cincinnati from the banks of the Ohio River to Findlay Market in Over the Rhine. With the aid of the Cincinnati Streetcar, plus 2 miles of walking over the course of 3 hours, we take you on a whirlwind tour of the city. You receive a light lunch, ride the streetcar and tour the city with a local, friendly guide. This is the perfect tour for families and locals who want to see the new downtown developments. Our food servings are generous and enough for lunch. We enjoy full servings of an authentic Belgium waffle, Skyline chili cheese dog, a scoop of Graeter's black raspberry chocolate chip ice-cream, a sweet treat from a local bakery and a slice of goetta from a German Butcher shop. Ice water is provided at the first three restaurants. Please bring a bottle for hydration if needed on a warm day. This tour include sightseeing, history, art and architecture. The streetcar is handicapped accessible, but this tour involves 2 miles of walking in addition to riding the streetcar over a 3 hour period of time. Motorized wheelchairs are recommended. Please note: Findlay Market is closed Monday. We provide alternate stops and the same amount of food.
Kamp Kessa A Zen-like horse experience to remember
1. arrive at barn with appropriate footwear and pants for riding. 2. Enter the herd that most matches your assessed skill and experience level . 3. Walk horse to barn and perform 1:1 grooming like a tea party! 4. Proceed to mount your horse and have preliminary lesson on riding. 5. Follow your host onto a nature trail. 6. Give each rider an opportunity to partner with their horse and nature. 7. Stop and safety check all tack half way through and discuss nature in our environment. 8. Return on an alternate trail to the farm. 9. Circle up and discuss what the power of the experience was for each participant. Other things to note When you enter the property, there will be a metal gate. Please open (and close) it and drive down the drive to the rust colored barn. Park at the barn and the host will meet you there. There are free range horses so drive cautiously.

If you've never visited Cincinnati before, you'll enjoy seeing the city with a friendly local guide. We know the best places to go and the most delicious food to try! Join us as we hop aboard the Cincinnati Streetcar to visit 3 different neighborhoods and 6 different restaurants or eateries. We'll stroll past beautiful architecture while hearing the history of the Queen City of the West. We will enjoy savory dishes at 3 restaurants in the central business district and ride through historic Over the Rhine, a beautifully restored German neighborhood. We hop back on the streetcar and ride pass beautiful Washington Park, an 8 acre oasis as we head to Findlay Market, the oldest standing urban market in Ohio. We walk through the market and enjoy three more local treats. We may enjoy some delectable cheese and fudge from a family owned business since 1922, or a Belgium waffle. Travel the world without leaving Cincinnati! If you’re looking for fun things to do in Cincinnati, this guided, walking culinary tour will introduce you to some of the best ethnic food in town. Ethnic food is the spice of life and historic Over the Rhine is home to dozens of entrepreneurs. It truly is a place where different worlds collide. We begin our culinary journey in beautiful Washington Park, where the heart of Over the Rhine congregates. Here at the northern edge of Cincinnati, we'll share a brief history of the German immigrants who built this neighborhood from the ground up. Learn why Music Hall is said to be one of the most haunted places in the country! We may enjoy Hawaiian inspired dishes at our first location. Next we relax in a neighborhood bar and enjoy the best tacos in the city and conclude our urban adventure at a Lebanese restaurant for a sweet ending. Other dishes may include hearty German fare, Polish pierogies, NY style or Detroit style pizza, a French macaron or an empanada. Other things to note: Our experience includes food, sightseeing, history, art, and architecture. We stroll through a historic German neighborhood from the 1800's. We walk about 1.5 miles over the course of 3 hours. Wear comfortable shoes and casual weather appropriate clothing. We can accommodate vegetarians only.
Fairchild Aircraft Flight Experience
Take the controls of a real WWII aircraft! You'll get to experience flight as the WWII Aviation Cadet experienced it, with an opportunity to take the controls. Over 70 years ago, young men and women took their first steps into the world of flight in aircraft just like this one. Referred to as "The Cradle of Heroes," the Fairchild PT-19 trained many of the famous WWII aces and bomber pilots of the 1940s. This is a one person, 30 minute flight experience, but plan your visit to be about an hour or more. *There is a weight limit of 235lbs, but if you are slightly over, please contact us to see if we can accommodate. **We fly year round, but this aircraft is not heated and does require a minimum outside temperature of 40 degrees** After your aircraft experience, you can enjoy our WWII Museum inside a historic 1930's hangar, with artifacts ranging from newspaper articles to uniforms and much more.

Horse Farm Tour - Thoroughbreds
Guests will begin a tour near the breeding facility where they will learn about the history of Xalapa Farm and what led to it becoming Hill ‘n’ Dale at Xalapa today. Then, we will proceed into the historic stallion barn & meet most, if not all, of the stallions on the roster including Curlin, Ghostzapper, Good Magic, & Charlatan. Next, we will proceed to the breeding facility. We will see where the stallions come into the facility. We will see where the mares enter the facility and what occurs prior, during and after a breeding. Then, we will some barns with mares & foals, as well as a drive around to see the bridge, race track & other locations where the movie Seabiscuit was filmed. We will also see the race track, life size bronze horse statue and bronze foals, crescent barn, crescent house, gardeners house, and blacksmith shop. Also, we will see some some historic spots such as water pump house, filtration system & water tower. The headstone of Prince Palantine which is a huge part of the history of Xalapa is on the farm as well. You will see the AirBNB (unless occupied)…plus a few extras!!!

Birdwatching in Red River Gorge
Guests will park at the cabin parking lot on the right to meet up with the guide. After checkin, guests will enjoy a leisurely stroll with their naturalist through field found below the Gladie Visitor Center, looking to identify the many birds that make the Red River Gorge their home. Cardinals, blue jays, humming birds and more are waiting to be spotted!
Aeronca Flight Experience
Take to the skies in our 1941 Aeronca L-3E Defender! You'll experience a 30 minute flight in this historic aircraft, sightseeing over Middletown and surrounding areas, with an opportunity to take the controls. This 30 minute flight is a one person experience, with a strict weight limit of 170lbs. Allow additional time to visit our aviation and military history museum which includes artifacts ranging from newspaper articles to uniforms and much more, from the Civil War through the Military's response to the Pandemic. This aircraft was manufactured right across the street from our historic hangar at the Aeronca factory and was completed on December 24, 1941. She spent time as a trainer with the Army Air Corps in Lubbock, Texas until November 1942 when she was removed from service. We recently acquired her and have restored her to the paint scheme she had when she was in military service. *This experience is weather dependent, and can not take place in inclement weather, including winds of 20 knots or greater.
Gourmet Picnic with the goats
Enjoy a picnic breakfast, lunch, or dinner on our lovely private 12 acre farm just 15 minutes from downtown Lexington yet totally private and social distant enjoying the woods and fields with our friendly goat family. Food is brought in from Lexington's top restaurants, breakfast or lunch from DV8 or First Watch; dinner from Sutton's Italian or barbeque from City Barbeque. The complete meal will be set prior to your arrival, including fresh fruit and ice water. Your picnic area will have a picnic style table, adirondack chairs, and a hammock for you to relax in, or a game of cornhole or Bocca Ball. The goats will be tied in the picnic area so there is no need to worry about them invading your dinner! Time can be spent with our baby goats, holding and bonding with them in their own area. The picnic will be in a wooded area that is a 50 foot walk from the parking area. We can accommodate up to 20 guests in your group, if you would like to be the only group at a time picnicking, just click private group when signing up, so your experience will be totally private. It is perfect for couples, families, or groups. We can also customize your picnic brunch or dinner, and have many dates available, just request a date and time.
Animal Care Behind-The-Scenes!
Join our animal care staff at 7:30am to get to feed and learn about everything from llamas, donkeys, horses, and cows to bison, bunnies, turtles, and chickens. You will get to choose how involved you want to be in the morning care process. You can choose to observe from a distance, just feed the critters, or get in and try your hand at being a super duper poop scooper! Your host will share fun stories, interesting facts and more about every animal you encounter. Other things to note Please consider anyone in your group that may be allergic or frightened of animals. Please wear attire that you do not mind to get a little dirty.
