We'll walk through the community and interact with the people there so you can see what a normal day is like for the locals. We'll learn about the educational and health systems, visit and learn about historical places, and get to know and interact with small businesses that are part of the lives of the Cuban people. Together, we'll experience the daily lives and idiosyncrasies of Cubans, and learn about the main accomplishments and challenges of our economic and social reality. The day will end at my family's home, where you will get to know the story of my Cuban family, and also taste some typical drinks and snacks. After a brief warm-up, we will enter the world of Cuban salsa. The goal of this experience is to have fun and interact with each other. We will start with basic steps that will allow us to understand Cuban music and we will progress little by little, always enjoying Cuban music and it's rhythms. It's a great day full of nature, breathtaking views and amazing local food, always taking into account all the biological precautions in order to safely enjoy our day. Itinerario: Recogida en su residencia Airbnb o su hotel y salida hacia Varadero. Parada y disfrute de maravillosas vistas en el Puente de Bacunayagua, el más alto de Cuba y considerado una de las siete maravillas de la arquitectura cubana, degustará de la mejor piña colada de Cuba mientras observa el increíble paisaje natural. (incluido) Exploración de la cueva de Saturno, haremos un pequeño recorrido a pie hasta entrar en la cueva, dentro observaremos estalagmitas y estalactitas y disfrutaremos de un refrescante baño en el río subterráneo, te sorprenderás al ver las aguas tan cristalinas del río. Recorrido panorámico por el casco urbano de Varadero, donde aprenderás la historia de este mundialmente famoso pueblo, visitado por Grandes personalidades de todos los tiempos. Tiempo para almorzar, disfrutaremos de la sabrosa comida tradicional cubana.(incluido) Tiempo para baño en las fabulosas playas de Varadero (El tiempo en la playa es de 3 horas a 4 horas, está en dependencia del tiempo consumido en los puntos de parada anteriores). Regreso a la Habana y retorno a su residencia. El viaje de la Habana a Varadero dura aproximadamente 2.5 horas.

We will swim and snorkel near Havana to find the remains of one of either this two ships, SS Olivette or City of Alexandria, both American ships that sank in the waters off Havana in an incredible, historic natural event. Depending on the weather and the guests' skills, we will decide to go to one of them each time. We will meet early in the morning in Old Havana. On the way to the beach, I will tell you the story of the century-old shipwreck. AT THE BEACH, we will warm up with simple physical exercises and go over the safety rules. We will also check everybody's comfort with sea activities, as safety is an absolute priority. If needed, we will teach you basic breath-holding techniques. We will swim 450 yards over the coral reef (SS Olivette) or 300 yards (City of Alexandria) until we get on top of the shipwreck. If we are lucky —and any seaman knows that luck is part of the game— we will find the remains of the ships. Normally, you can see the wreck perfectly from the water's surface. The whole expedition might take two to three hours. Later, we can enjoy the beach while sharing stories about nice snorkeling adventures. Then, Jose´s mom will show you how to cook in our local style, having the opportunity to understand when, why, and how we prepare each dish. Finally, we will enjoy tasting the different plates that we prepared and, in that moment, when we are laughing and sharing our personal stories under the rhythm of drums, you will realize that the simple act of eating assumes mystical dimensions and has the power to bring strangers together like family. At the end of the day you will know how flavors, music and dance tell the story of the desires and struggles of our African ancestors. Nuestro tour comienza en su alojamiento desde donde serán recogidos y nuestra primera parada será en el Mirador Bacunayagua. Con una piña colada (incluída) disfrutaran de las impresionantes vistas del Valle de Yumuri y el puente mas alto de Cuba. A continuación los invitaremos a realizar snorkeling (30-45min) en una de las barreras coralinas mas grandes de la costa norte cubana. La gran diversidad de peces, corales y abanicos de mar serán el escenario ideal para fotos submarinas increíbles que les incluiremos. Solo a 5 minutes se encuentra La Cueva Saturno con hermosas formaciones de estalactitas y estalagmitas e inundada en agua fresca y transparente donde podrán nadar y relajarse! Para almorzar los llevaremos a un restaurante frente al mar (no incluido, máximo 1500cup por persona). Luego disfrutaremos de una de las mejores playas del mundo, conocida por su arena blanca y sus aguas cristalinas: Varadero! We like the LOCALS, the real deal, and the CUBANISM. That’s what we will try to show. At NIGHT PUB CRAWL we we’ll be hopping for 2.5h into different bars/nightclubs getting into the night life mood by going to the places that we used to go in college, places that are out of the touristic books. Here you will be able to taste our night spirit, from a small bar to dark night clubs where you will be able to show your dancing skills. Get ready for dance!!! Well guys, what can I say, YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THIS TOUR. Have you ever seen bikers dancing in The Malecon? Hahaha, with luck you can witness a unique episode!! After picking up the bikes, we will ride along the streets of Havana City looking for street food, pretty much like a city tour on bikes. You will have the opportunity to see and take photos of important landmarks like The Royal Force Castle, The Morro Castle on the other side of the bay, The Malecon, National Hotel, Revolution Square, and many others. During the tour, you will interact with locals as well. A regular food market will be visited. I will teach you how the distribution of food works in Cuba. After this, we'll continue to have some street food at different points along the way. I will carrythe necessary money in CUP to pay for the food, and will also let you know a few details about the currencies we use in Cuba and other tips. Be aware: Our bikes can't hold more than 90 kg, that's why we aren't able to receive guests that may weigh more than that, it is unsafe for guests, and bikes may broke easily. Keep in mind the tour covers about 15 kilometers, so, be ready!!!

We'll visit Vista Hermosa farm to learn about the processes and ecological practices used there. We'll taste cheeses, fruit salad and artisan sausages. We'll make a tour of the farm by ride a horse or by car. Then you'll enjoy a traditional cuban food made of these local products. We include transportation to go to the farm and return to Prado y Colón, it is not necessary to pay for it. Vista Hermosa farm belongs to the Slow Food International movement, working intensely on the production of organic crops without chemicals or fertilizers of any kind and for its effort to keep the culinary traditions of Cuba alive. Products such as Nabacoa cheese, which is made in the farm, is part of the Arca del Gusto, a catalog of products that belong to the culture and traditions of the world, in danger of disappearing. It’s time then for the panoramic convertible classic car tour, the route is designed in the same way the city of Havana grew, starting from Central Habana, passing through Vedado, Square of the Revolution, Cemetery of Habana, New Vedado, Havana’s Rainforest, Miramar and Malecon.
