We’ll be cooking a balanced 3 course meal and learning how to make simple, yet delicious and nourishing recipes.
Each class is focused on one specific emotion (eg. joy or self love)
I’ll explain its oriental background, to which foods, cooking styles, flavours it’s connected to & teach you how to keep it in balance.

Then we'll get cooking & enjoy the meal together.

All the dishes are vegan, gluten free, using local and seasonal ingredients.

It was such a lovely time cooking with you and meeting others who were as eager to learn new tricks in the kitchen. I enjoyed that it was a very relaxed environment, with you sharing of your knowledge and experience of cooking with us. The food was so delicious, and your natural love for food and cooking really inspired me to get cooking in the kitchen again. The collaborative way we all cooked together was really great and different. I also particularly loved that you helped us become aware of ourselves by helping us with a quick tuning in meditation before we started and by ending it off with "sweets of wisdom" to pick us up when we need it (in the form of us writing things we like abut ourselves). Thank you Vanessa for a really special evening.

I really enjoyed the cooking class, led by Vanessa. It was a wholesome, fun and helpful way of gaining insight and practice into making delicious vegan dishes, ones which were particularly unique and so delicious, but not too complicated to prepare! I look forward to trying these out myself.

I really enjoyed this class with Vanessa - she made me feel really welcome and instantly relaxed as we started with a mini meditation. We then got to know each other with the other guests while preparing the meals together. It was fun and interactive and Vanessa gave us some great tips on cooking, based on what she learnt from travelling across the globe. She introduced us to new foods to introduce into vegan cooking, including miso and kuzu. The food we made was delicious and easy to make and it was really nice to eat it together at the end of the session. Thank you again Vanessa!

I and my niece had a lovely experience - Vanessa was very warm and welcoming. We cooked a variety of interesting but not too complex vegan courses (which we will definitely try at home later on) and had a lovely relaxed time cooking, followed by a great dinner. We left with ‘souls candy’ bags which was a lovely touch! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice evening of relaxed cooking and interesting discussion. Thank you!
