Viewforth is a detached, former croft cottage built in 1912. The house overlooks the area where Carloway River flows out into Carloway Loch and is surrounded by green slopes dotted with sheep. On a sunny day or at sunset it is very difficult to drag yourself away from the windows at the front of the house watching the light change the view. The house has a fully enclosed (cocker spaniel proof) back garden and the garden at the front has beautiful views across the loch.

The house is in the small village of Dalmore, next to Carloway on the west side of lewis. The house is minutes away from the beautiful Dalmore beach. Doune Braes Hotel and restaurant is near by and Uig Sands Resturant is a 40 minute drive away but highly recommended. Places of interest such as Gearrannan Blackhouses and The Broch are a short drive. The Callanish Stones are a 20 minute drive away and Stornoway is a 35 minute drive.
