Nairn offers wonderful beaches and a wide range of attractions including championship golf courses, a marina, swimming pool, spa, tennis courts and an art gallery. Amenities like supermarkets, banks, cafes and restaurants are all within a short walk. The cottage is 15 minutes drive from Inverness airport and provides a great base to explore the Highlands.

Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. One of the best natural harbours in Europe, the Royal Navy had a base here until 1956. Now oil rigs line up in the Firth and liners visit every week in the summer season. Invergordon's spectacular murals are a must see!

The general store has a good choice of foodstuffs which you can cook in our well equipped kitchen.
